Yet, if the Titanic had sailed without incident across the Atlantic, movie director James Cameron still could have produced a three-hanky, historically based tearjerker of love and loss for the fictious, ill-fated lovers. Spirited Rose and dashing Leonardo (er, Jack) would unite on the grand ship much to the dismay of her mother.
